Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
¼ cup of water
3 tbsp Snider’s Ancho Chili Seasoning: Original or Hot
Extra virgin olive oil spray
12 flour tortillas, street taco size
2 cups Mexican style cheese
16 oz can refried beans
10 oz can enchilada sauce
1 tomato, diced
3 green onion, chopped
Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through.
- Once browned, drain any excess grease and stir in Snider's Ancho Chili Seasoning and water. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- While the meat is simmering, heat a second skillet over medium heat.
- Lightly spray both sides of the tortillas with extra virgin olive oil spray. Cook each side of the tortilla on the skillet until it turns a light brown shade, approximately 90 seconds per side.
- Warm the refried beans in the microwave for about 3 minutes.
- To assemble the taco pizzas, start by layering the following ingredients on six of the cooked tortillas: refried beans, enchilada sauce, meat, and cheese.
- Place a second tortilla on top and layer it with enchilada sauce, cheese, green onions, and diced tomatoes.
- Transfer the prepared pizzas to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 5 minutes, or until the cheese is irresistibly bubbly.
